Through disordered machines, junkyard drums and tangled strings, Errerbergen Rose paves the slanted path of the great human catastrophe. Martial rhythms and mounds of atonal matters clash with cryptic lyrics to create constant tension never to be resolved and a lingering fear that sticks to the air. Still this grand confusion is sometimes soothed by an ancient chant, somehow comforting and healing. Between electronic post-punk, industrial and noise music.

Des forces vont se déplacer is a kinetic installation that unfolds its structure in space with both power and delicacy. The object, a mechanised arm equipped with sound and visual sensors, moves freely, in perfect balance, drove only by two fans. Sensors draws the trajectory of the arm on a screen while wireless microphones capture the sound of the motors and the clattering of the machine, which is then processed by the computer. The mechanical noises become drones and ambient sounds, delivering a contemplative experience both sonically and visually.

Studio Metal is a work-in-progress space for musical and audiovisual creation designed as a tool for collective work and collaborations, aimed at supporting experimentation and encouraging knowledge's sharing. It gives access to resources more inclusive and encourage independence and collaboration. A space to be taken over, repurposed and brought to life through artistic, social and politically engaged projects.
The studio is located in Saint-Gilles (Bruxelles-Capitale, BE) and is a collaborative project led by Noé Beal, Victor Faure, Florian Lemaître and myself since november 2025.
We provide recording, audio editing, mixing, mastering, sound design and music production services. The spaces are also accessible on request.

Maël Birot (Angers, 1999) is a Brussels-based sound artist and sound engineer working across electronic, alternative and experimental music, in both recording and performative contexts.
After beginning with electronic music production and DJing, he completed a two-year live sound engineering program at Grim-Edif in Lyon (2020–2022), followed by two years in the electronic music class of the National Music School (ENM) of Villeurbanne (2022–2024). During this time, he developed his electronic solo project lost in material and co-founded the electronic noise-rock band Errerbergen Rose. His practice also extends to contemporary dance and art installations, where he explores electro-acoustic processes and sound design in relation to movement and space.
After moving to Brussels in 2024, he co-founded Studio Metal, a collaborative music studio based in Saint-Gilles. Since then, he has been active as a live sound engineer with projects such as eat-girls and has occasionally worked with the Amsterdam-based bands Housepainters and Baby Berserk.
group-ensemble is his new music duo, blending electronic, dub, noise and trip-hop influences.
